error when trying to activate mod.

everytime i click on the activator it says chaosempire.ce not found, so i went searching and the file is there. any ideas what may be wrong?

These are in most cases old files from a older installation (try).

By activation these files can´t be renamed in the right way.

To get informations who you can solve this problem, follow the link in my signature called installationissues.

There is no mention (that I could find) in the link about the problem with blanks in the directory name.

By default, D2 installs in a directory called "c:\programs\Diablo II" - note the blank before the 'II' part.

I also got the same error mentioned previously and renamed the directory 'Diablo2' (with necessary registry changes) and it worked fine afterwards. Maybe that's the problem here ?

I had a friend with the same problem, he simply uninstalled D2, reinstalled it, and it worked just fine...
