Topic: Problems with Iron Golem charge on unique assassin claw

Hi,
I'm at work now, so I can't give the exact name of the item, but it should be easy to determine. It's the unique assassin weapon (claw class), that has 1 iron golem charge (about lvl 14, I think).

Anyway, I've searched the forums for iron golem entries and didn't find anything, hence this post ...

I found a nice weapon that gave lots of crushing blow and equiped the claw. After the golem was cast on the item, the charge had gone, but the item was still there and no golem. I repaired the claw (cost over 300k for this one charge !) and tried again, with the same result.

Is this a known problem ?

This happens because there is only 1 charge on the claw. If u use it up, u loose the "skill" iron golem, and as you do not longer have the skill, the golem vanishes. This also happens for example when trying to use the last charge of summon skills like on hoto for example

I suggest making 2 charges of the golem on the claw. Anyway i doubt the golem is really useful

How can you "make" charges on a unique item? most of the time, the abilities and numbers are fixed. The only other way I see would be gems, runes or jewels. I don't remember having one of those with charges on it.

Yes - i meant chaos to do this. Players can do nothing atm, so the charges are pretty useless
