big problem

I was playing on my 92 sorc on single player, when i tired to enter game it came a text "unable to enter game, bad header"  what does that mean how do i fix it??? it would be a shame to loose my char now :(





so i will lose all my stuff?? then im finished for playing ce too bad

first i got a acces violation window and after that the problem started...

do you ever backup your single play characters. that way if something bad happens you can restore it.  I used to do that on regular D2 all the time since my 12 year old son liked to play my guys and switch equipment around for the stuff he found.

yes i did everything what there was said but it didnt work :( still "bad header". 
And yes i have backupped my save file for a while ago..  what can i do??

backup the current (corrupted) files and try to use the old backups...

maybe u can play your char a few lvls ago then.

well now it did work but its too bad that i lost 45 pages in stash all my staff:(

Glad that worked for you.  :)   Items are much more easily replaced then a character you spent hours and hours on.
I would also back up your stash file everyone once in awhile. That way that never happens again.

Is this problem somehow bound to the character so that it will keep happening at the same point even if you backup your character or is it random?
