trouble activating 755

I did an deactivation to do my weekly log in of my bnet characters with expiration characters visible.  I then see that there are new updates.  I download them,  don't unzip them per the instructions to install over the activated version.  I go to activate and it's giving me all the "missing chaosempire.ce" errors etc.  note I've done clean installs (revert to 109 bat file then reinstall 110) and clean installs of the 755 patch and I still can't activate...

Help me :(
