Busy forum?

HI,
are there problems with the forum? when i accessed during lunch (Quebec) it was taking 1-2 minutes to display a complete page.

I also had to write this message twice cause the session was terminated for to great a delay after the post action.

I opened other windows to test others sites, all was speedy with them.

there aren't any problems now... perhaps a short server lag or something nothign to worry about i'd say

Well today there have been several complications with the International routers that our ISPs all use.
Since "Quebec -> Wherever in Germany" is such a connection, that might have caused your delays.

the server and the forum are located in frankfurt, germany main node for all the internet traffic, all big international lines are connected there to, so i think it was an issue on the "road" to you

That's probably it. I wanted to mention it cause you just changed the forum and it could have be a performance problem on the forum engine.
Think nothing more of it then...

no the forum runs very smooth, the only issue we have had, was at the beginning with a portal beside it
