Question and a cube recipe

As far as i know, blizzard cube recipes should still work.  Unless theres a new recipe for your desired effect on here.

Anyway, this one doesnt.
1 Hel Rune + Scroll of Town Portal + Any Socketed Item = Unsocket that item

So im wondering.  Besides the Suicide Minion Doll (Im not wasting one on something this stupid) is there any way at all to remove the gems you put into a socketed item?

And yes, the Suicide Minion doll is the only way to get the gems out of socked items.

First of all, he didn't say that dolls are stupid, did he?

He only mentioned that he thinks that it would be stupid to use the suicide minion doll just clean the sockets.

BTW, can't help you, sorry, don't know wether this recipe works for me, and i also don't have the time to test it now.

When I understand this sentence wrong than a BIG sorry.

There is no other recipe in CE for this.

The cube recipes from blizzard were deactivated when a new CE recipe exists, source is the readme under version history. :)
