Topic: Guhhh.. It strikes again!

Zomg =< This game has been nothing but problems, but I cant stop now, I gotta get it working. So I got it to work ONCE last night, I played til like level 3 (It was like 1 AM when I got it all working.) I did the most counter-intuitive thing though, it kept telling me files were missing, but I clicked by em anyways and tried running the game without it saying its activated, and it worked fine, even my friend was able to play with me. Anyways, I got on today, and I clicked the game, and it blue-screened on me. Omfg =< Its been doing that a lot, and I thought I had finally fixed it. So I worked out all the kinks in the activating, and it activates fine now ( I reinstalled ) but it still blue screens and its quite a hassle to restart my computer every time I want to try something different.

Is there something that causes this? I dont have any hacks any more, and I reinstalled DII after I got rid of em ( The game is so boring, Im hoping w/o them it might have a bit more fun again, eh?)

Plz Help.. This is so pathetic. 4 days of trying to get this to work =<

hi there!

i will tell you  one way to ensure this game will work 100 % !!!!!!!!
JUST reinstall diablo 2 ,lod, patch 1.10, and then download from here:  
 http://chaosempire.net/download.htm  = download only the 7.50 version...ant then upgrade it by dowloading the 7.51 upgrade...but remember before the upgrade deactivate the mod..otherwise you will have to reinstall ..   .

You have to deactivate befor installing the Chaos Empire Version 7.50.

But you must not deactivate before upgrading to Version 7.51.

You have writen that you got rid of hacks etc. then you it will be wise to use a new directory name for the new installation. There can be old parts of porgrams which will make trouble in the old directory.

Yea. So apparently what I had to do was change it from GeForce to Glide when running the Diablo II, it actually LOADS now. But now I get a different error, but I talked to a mod or w/e (Guy in blue on the game) Blizz Representative and he basically told me to make a new folder and reinstall the whole game, so I guess I will do that when I get back home. Thanks for your help.

Ish all fixed ^____^ Im playing 7.51... I beat blood raven last night and raided The Crypt.. So im pretty happy, I got an Atma doll and found a rare ring, too! Im level 8..
