Assertion Failure

I just installed CE (7.50 then 7.51) and when i try to create a character, i get the following message :
Assertion Failed
Location : D2Common\DATATBLS\ItemTbls.cpp, line #2008
Expression : ptItemStats != NULL

I use a french version with the fix for english playing (that i installed after CE).

what fix?

you dont need any kind of fix, just use your french version..

OK,

i uninstalled and set up again without the fix for international.

Same error occurs. It happens both for SP or BN.

renemae your save folde(or the ce-mod inside)
and try with a clean char folder

I finally decided to install again from scratch. After a few "repair" sessions, i finally got it to work properly.
