Multiplayer connection problem

Hi all,

I have been playing this mod for a few weeks now, off and on. Great mod!!!

I even got a friend to try it. But, when we tried to connect to play together, we couldn't. We are both using version 7.51a. We have tried all combinations of who is hosting, open bnet, realm, direct tcp/ip connect. Whoever is hosting the game has no problem starting a game, but the player trying to join always gets a 'failed to connect' message.

Neither of us has any problems connecting and playing vanilla LOD.

We really want to play together. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I surely believe that you have an issue

But I dont do this for Closed Realm games...

Al other are surely possible

But if both can play without the other then closed realm must work...

patch. Try to see you firewall settings, or brandmour if you in XP. I think it caused exactly by this problems. Cause i with my friend have a nice gaming on LAN every time and haven't problems with it.
