Missing File error, please help!

Hi,
  I'm new to this mod, i just dled and installed v7.50 and .51.  However, when i click the activate CE icon, it says that its missing the file ChaosEmpire.ce but i can clearly see it in the folder.  Do i need to move it somewhere else?  What should I do? I'm really looking forward to playing this mod, so plesae help!

hi

usually u do it like this:

install d2
install patch 1.10
install CE 7.50
Activate CE 7.50
extract 7.51 over the activated 7.50
have fun playing

hope that clears some things up

Hey,
  Thanks for the quick reply.  That is exactly what i did, but i still get that error "Missing file: ChaosEmpire.ce" then it says "activation failed."  I can still see the file, ChaosEmpire.ce so i know its not missing...any other advice?

edit: forgot to ask...this is compatible with LOD, right?

edit2: got it working now, thanks for the help!

if u have a folder named 110_ORG in your d2 dir do the following:

copy the repair.bat from 110_ORG to your d2 dir and run it
then copy all other files from 110_ORG to your d2 dir
reinstall 7.50 and activate
extract 7.51 over that
