Topic: Not able to leach health/mana from skeletons

Hi, I just came back to Chaos Empire after more than ten years.    One brick wall I keep running into with my melee characters is that it seems that cannot leach life or mana from skeletons.   They progress as normal until I hit some of the skeleton-heavy levels, especially in Act2.   At that point they seem to have no chance of progressing.


Is this a change that was added to the game in the more recent updates?   I don't remember it being like this 10-12 years ago.    Could it have something to do with the version of Diablo 2 that I am using?    I am using version 1.11b.   It was probably an earlier version back then.   Maybe this was something that was added to the base game since I last played.   If so, can it be worked around by using a different version level of Diablo 2?

Since i play CE there is no mana/ life leech at skeletons. Only lifetap works.

u gwt nothing from the skellys (SADLY) but if u go Bonemancer with skellys u can get +life/  +mana each kill with bone spear or bone spirt or (psn nova??)       im hardcore is the psn nova is testing.....
