Question:socket

Can we sock magic/rare/set/unique items
by putting them in the cube and mixing with something?
Because that will really help me out.
I'm play ver. 7.50
If possible, and uf any of you know how to do it, please tell me.
Or if it's only possible in 7.51, let me know too.

1 socket item -> 1 item + (Socket Amount + double amount of perfect gem's)

No, actually the formula is this Item + 2x PGs = Items with x soxx
Or, short said, a socket needs the doubled amount of PGs.

Well, it's quite simple...
1 socket = 2 PGs
2 soxx = 4 PGs
3 soxx = 6 PGs
and so on...Got it? ;)

You can only add soxx once. If an item already has soxx, it cannot gain additional soxx, so be careful, when counting the PGs. ;)

Make sure you have the right version of the game 4 the right socket receipe:

in 7.49 it was oils
2 for 1 socket
3 for 2 sockets
4 for 3 sockets
5 for 4 sockets and so on.

Then it was changed to Skulls
(same receipe as above)

And now in 7.51 it Gems with the receipe 2 gems = one socket

If u play 7.50 i assume u play single player.
I recomend upgrading to 7.51 now, because there is a bug with your doll stash in version 7.50, that got fixed in 7.51

Then u can also use the cheaper receipe with socketing items with gems (doesn't matter what kind, just need to be perfect)

How about rare items, can they have multiple amount of socs, like 6x?

like 6 soc....no but 5 can be done in the flail

All rare items can get the same number of sockets as their grounditems. Their is no limitation for the sockets, except the uber-unique which can´t get sockets at all.

So some rare items can get 6 sockets, as example you can get 6 sockets in a war axe.
