Having Problems with mouseWheel

hello im running on windows 7 and my mouse wheel works fine intell i create or join a game.

Is there anything that fixs that?


EDIT: I have looked though the fourms but didnt find anything that whould help  My Mouse is a.....Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical®

Start the Game in the WinXP SP3 compatibility mode.

thanks scoobyD for replying....i have the game n compadble for windowsXp SP3 but the mouse still does not work i have tried WinXP SP2 also still got the same problem wheel works in the channel but not n the game do i need to restart the computer when i do this??

EDIT: i tried restarting comp didnt work i tried a few steps someone else did to resolve this problem but it didnt work for me mayb i dont have somthing setup right i hate not haveing the wheel to play with i hope we can resolve this...

should i try to reinstall everything? mayb a file got a error SORRY i know im a newb when it comes to this stuff

and this settings should i mess with them there all unchecked

#1) Run in 256 colors
#2) run in 640x480 screen resolution
#3) disable visual themes
#4) disable desktop composition
#5) disable display scaling on high DPI settings                              Thanks very much

you need admin permission and disable visual themes, for d2 at all, for mousewheel..sp2 compatibility, maybe new mousedriver
