Problems with 7.72 update

yes hello i got the 7.72 update fromt his site and it says there is errors with some of the files i dont know if i was just doing it wrong or what but when i put the files in with CE it just says error on everything and then i cant play or deatiavte it or anything so what should i do id like to have the update???

you have to

- install update to 7.69
- activate mod
- extract the update 7.72 to a folder and copy all these files into your diablo installation folder and overwrite if necessary.

have you enough rights on your pc ?

so uninstall what i have now and install the update to 7.69 only?

yes i have all rights to my computer

No special magic is required for 7.72
CE must be activated, game must not be running, then explode the 7.72 zip onto the previous working version you were using.
