On 1.10 bnet normal, there is a Energy Shield bug, where upon being hit, the damage is applied before taking into consideration your resists.  This makes ES not very usefull in 1.10 bnet normal an you will lose all of your Mana all at once, and usually you die.

Also there are a couple of more bugs (some may be on purpose), like the Marrowalk one, that gives you the bone prison synergies just by equiping the boots.   These are just some examples of the more common ones.

I was wondering if they exist in this mod or have you taken them out?

I am building 2 sorcs and it will make a big difference on how I build them depending on what gives with Energy Shield.

ps;  I wish I read and spoke German so i could gather all of good info that is in these forums.  You all have been so helpfull ingame with the language situation.  So many of you speak really good English. It saddens me that I can't speak your language in return.  :wallbash:

This is a grate mod and I really enjoy playing it.

In CE you get much more Mana than in vanilla, so, energy shield is important for you if you want to survive in hell. The problem is that you shouls skill Telekinesis as far as possible or otherwise you will still be left without Mana in many situations after being hit only once. Ok, even with maximum Telekinesis you will encounter these situations, but Telekinesis makes them happen less often ;)
