Sets not providing additional benefits

Hi there

I have just reloaded Chaos Empire on my new system (Vista) and it all runs fine. I followed the instructions and am currently running v7.68.

What I have noticed is that on my character when I have 2 items from the same set I do not get the additional benefits associated. If they are put on to my follower it works fine

To test this it will be useful to make a screen when you have these items on your char and some informations which set it is.

Could it be that you can only wear one of the items when you have strength or dexterity bonuses from the item you wear before? Than it may be that one of this set items went red on your char and so you don´t really wear it and get no bonuses on that reason.

I have noticed differently, so I'm a bit confused.
Any two pieces from the Death set (usually gloves and sash) give IAS and life-steal, just like the sets page says.

Two Angelic Raiment rings, however, only count as one piece.

If the screenshot is not convenient, could you list the set and parts you tried where it gave bonus boosts to your merc but not to you?

I have seen this error a few times too. Sorry Jiriki and webwalker that i will explain it in german.

Ich hatte das einmal mit dem "Civerb" und einmal mit dem "Hofnarr"-Set. Beim Hofnarr war es so, dass ein Kumpel keinen Setbonus bekam (auch das Leuchten hat gefehlt). Bei mir, meinem Söldner und auch bei seinem Söldner gabs aber keine Probleme mit exakt den selben Setteilen und die Anforderungen zum Tragen des Sets hat er auch erfüllt. Wir konnten deshalb keine Ursache für das Verschwinden der Setboni ausmachen. Beim Civerb-Set war es damals noch mysteriöser. Beim Anlegen hatte ich alle Boni und während des Spielens sind sie dann einfach verschwunden und immer mal wieder aufgetaucht.

but i  remember that i also missed sometimes ago the "glowing"
dropped the items, clicked and auto used them..and all was ok..as far as i remmeber
