server 4 ist wie imemr kurz weg nach einer dsl 24h trennung, mit dem neuen router krieg ich die verbindung nicht mehr so shcnell zurueck, wie frueher, dadurch bricht der ab, aber die char werden nach 1-2minutne freigegeben, weil der komplett unerreichbarist, im gegensatz zu den server die wirklich haengen

Note to servers/admins/Mod Owner...
If the names of games in the join screen has the server number and the difficulty level visible then we can make more accurate stuck game posts. Difficulty level could just be 1, 2, or 3, so a game
14_1_mul
would mean server 14, normal difficulty, name Mul.  Whether we could join by "mul" or "14_1_mul" is ???

(Mul... sounds like the name of a rune...)

Also, if empty but still existing games would show in the list we could use them for muling rather than create new games.

you wont know the server number until you already created the game..no one has source code of the server and so there is nothing possible

but wont it be possible to show the properties of an already existing game ? .. for example in the second half of the join screen. just some little infos, which server an difficulty. could be shown as mentioned diff. 1-3 and the numered server. If the game exists, all this is already known, isnt it ? or is this part to deep in the original sourcecode to get that changed ?

btw how about hc chars in a stuck game when theyre out of town .. is a r.i.p. possible ?  or via rollback changeable ?

"No one has source code for server" means that server-side code changes are not possible, even for Chaos.

Closest equvalent not requiring server-side coding: a server-side script that auto-creates a character which auto-joins the game.  Character name would have numbers for X and Y giving "serverX_diffY".  Removing the char from the game when there are no other characters in the game for 5 minutes would be another job of said script(s).

Since a given server can have a large number of games of the same difficulty, the name serverX_diffY_zzz would allow distinguishing between games.

This is not necessarily as simple as I have illustrated.  So it's a suggestion to study, nothing more.
