How to prevent the forum page from loading when launching the mod?

Hi! Just started playing again this great mod. My only problem is that my operating system is not windows, but ubuntu, so I have to use a windows compatibility layer called cedega. The problem is that when I launch the mod, it starts firefox and opens the forum page. It causes that there is about couple lines empty at the top and the game window is that much lower. This never happens with the normal LoD so I figured it might be because of the page loading. Is there any way to prevent the page loading? I will send a screenshot once I figure out how to take one in ubuntu. Thanks for the great mod!

Avoiding the startup page from the forum is only possible with other mod-files.

But your problem with the missing lines i know from myself under Windows XP. This happens when D2 is used in window-mode and not the active program. I avoid this problem with clicking on the d2 window directly when it appears in the taskbar. Switching between D2 and the opened forum (Firefox) after complete loading from D2 isn´t a problem anymore.

I hope this solution will work under ubuntu, too.

Am I allowed to use this dll, too? Because it also works better with Vista...
