Attack- speed of whirlwind

hi, i have quastion again :)


Colossus Blade get 6 hit in "40% increased speed" when use Whirlwind.

Suppose that, i have "20% increased speed" Colossus Blade.

if i socketed "Shael Rune" in my ring, will i get 6 hit?

I mean,

1. equipped "20% increased speed Colossus Blade" + "20% increased speed ring "
2. equipped "40% increased speed Colossus Blade"

"1" and "2" will same hit when use Whirlwind?

No, 1 and 2 are not at the same speed when using ww.
If ww is used only the weapon ias counts. The ring is considered as a weapon (for sockets), but it is not equal to a/the weapon.

So all the ias has to come from the weapon (and its sox) itself (if ww is used).
