'Failed to join game"

Well got my last issue taken care of, now trying to play open battle.net with some friends and am getting "Failed to join game" error, now i know we're both using the proper open ports, and what i hope is the correct version (7.66 SP3) all to no avail, were able to create but not join any games, tried searching and didn't get anything useful out of it

took the liberty of both me and my party updating to version 7.68 found on the chaosempire ftp still to no success with open or closed realm

what happens, when everybody does not have a sharedstash file in the save folder?
move it somewhjere else for testing, mostly that file causes tmeouts

I'm going to assume it's the file "_LOD_ChaosEmpireTradeStash.sss" as the rest of the files are my character names only
