Colorful Idea xD

Hello citizens of the Chaos Empire, i recently had an idea while wearing some armor in my barbarian (WhirlWind for those who may know me in-game) the fact is, the armor was blue, and i liked it, but when i tempered the armor it lose its blue for no color at all, i though: "maybe i could ask chaos energy to mantain the item original colors when tempering". But then i though even harder xD "maybe i could ask chaos energy to make some kind of item, like a dye flask or something that when you transmutated with any item, it would become that color!". I think that would be VERY cool, as it would make each and everyone look a little different (that by the way is something i really like, to be different) :) I wanted other opinions on my idea (is it good? is it too gay? maybe someone has something to add.), and also know if it is viable for chaos energy to make an item like this.

PS: maybe i should send this to chaos energy himself as a PM instead of posting here. Ah, i think ill do both, so he can see this faster xD

and the same answer:
it is not possible
you will only get items in darkgreen and black, cause of a bug other colors are not possible

Is the thing with tempering the same as cubeing 'new' colors on items?

As doom86 said, the original color of the rare item is deleted if u temper it :(

Same with crafted items, the are always colorless, no matter if they have a colorgiving affix on them or not. Very sad... I liked my blue wand :(
