ChaosEmpire:
wow..
i thaught flying in america is cheaper than in germany..but i was wrong..

mrmud:
Flying in the baggage compartment is as cheap as one can go  ..... it's just a matter of how much you can drink and how willing some one is to pack you in their luggage.

bdpf:
That is Cheap joe, was around $1,000.00. ???

Now they don't feed you or give you any type of drinks.

With luck you might get a bag of peanuts.
It's worse than  a Third class train, they don't like it if you bring your own food.  :wece:

@joe:  Per the CIA World Factbook, Germany is slightly smaller in area than the state of Montana.  Compared to flying coast-to-coast for about $660, flying across Montana costs only about $850 (if you find the logic there, let me know.  We're a whacky country in a few ways!)

bdpf:
Heck Brian is about 500 miles from me and it's almost 1000 miles to Pensacola, where I trained with the navy. <SMILE>

Montana is about 1000 miles, or 2 1/2 days travel with a family by car.

Made trip from Penscola to Chicago in 19 hours by car, not counting a nap, and went to work Monday morning. UUGGG!
70 mile / hour limit was the rule then. The old Falcon flew with the truckers that Saturday night, Sunday morning.
Ran in the high 80s most of the night. Navy released us to go home at 20:00, to go home. Almost the latest i was ever released from active training duty.

Brian what is it coast to coast? 3500 miles , , , , ,? ???
