Why is sp3 opening my browser

i noticed that since the last patch my browser opens when I run CE. i just closed it and didn't think much of it, but today i see a global message saying to leave my browser open. Can I please get a reason as to why i should have to leave my browser open to play this mod?

cause, i asked always for support to browse forum, login and so on..nobody did..and if asking does not work..i need to make it hardcoded

i dont get it - i dont hav internet at home - so if i close the browser - is it going to kill my game or something?

i play in SP only - as i dont hav internet - wish i did though :(

just close the browser,,no problem
if you doint have autodial enabled, it should also not go out into internet
