I feel like this belong in the summon golem thread.
Im justwondering, is it on purpose that its not possible to summon a Metal golem out of bows and that like, or is it because it was forgotten ?
If one read the info about a metal golem, one should think that it would be possible to summon one out of a bow or such since its just as much a weapon made out of wood and metal etc. that the others are. :)

Im just pondering about it.

I guess, a question for our MODerator (Joe), are classes of items marked "can/can't" for making an Iron Golem of this item type?  If not, we're stuck with the division between those that can be I.G. and those that can't.  Changing the name to "item golem" would work for me, though I sure there are better names.

my I.G. gripe: they evaporate for no (apparent) good reason.  Can they be made to teleport to the necro when they're near the end of their leash?

One could only hope for minion tele, not just for golem but for ALL minions and no walk for any only RUN.  Also they disable walking to you when there is an enemy and instead attack the enemy.    Maybe even have "minion directional controls and aura activate button" on keypad.  But from discussions with CE, thats hard coded from blizzard and he needs some Hackers/Programmers to help with blizzards mistakes.

@ Darkkatgirl a good idea indeed, taking into considderation that once you get too far from your own summons (skelies and mages/revives) They die if they're in a fight and you run away too far from them.
Or so i've noticed quite alot.
