Topic: Won't update to SP2

when i dl the full with Sp2 or the sp2 update my versoin still says sp1.  plus i cant enter anyone's tp on the realm. can someone hlp

I can't find your Inhabitant post... this will have an effect of stopping Realm access.
The procedure is very different for FullSP2 and PatchSP2, please explain what you did.

I dled the sp2 update, unzipped it into my diablo 2 folder overwrote the files and thats it.  it says sp1

There is an issue that the 'sp2' shows only 'sp1' in game, a little forgotten change that shouldn´t have any effect to your gameplay.
Look at the filedate from chaosempire.mpq, it has to be the 04.02.2006.

I don´t know if this little versiondisplay error is included in the fullversion of 7.65SP2, too.

k thats what is says, but why can't i use a tp from someone if we are party together.

I will guess that you CAN take some TP's but try to take a TP to (for example) Catacombs when you haven't completed the Countess quest.  There is a requirement in many places that characters must complete earlier quests before they can take TPs farther into the act.

Try taking a party member's TP into the bloodmoor, just 1/2 screen outside the camp.  If you can do that, the problem is the quests that haven't been done.
