Problem with the New Quest

Hi all,
I can NOT get the Scroll of Inifuss to work. I collected the 3 pieces I needed according to the list "The King is Dead", "Fought the Seven" and "Black Tower Key. I put the 3 pieces in the cube and transmuted and it turned them into the Scroll. This was all done IN town! Then I went to the Stones in Stoney field and Nothing !! The portal is there but you cant activate the Scroll for the order to touch. So I opened another game to try the scroll again, and this time the way to Tristram is already open and I went in, Cain is Not even in there!!
Also, this very same problem happened with my Paladin too!
So will someone Plz tell me the problem and solution?? I really hate it if I have to track that Cow King down again in the Labyrinth :( That a real headache.
But any help you can give, I would really like to complete this Quest.

Hmmm... The Scroll of Inifuss was never able to open the portal... you had to go to Akara and get it translated. Only with the translated scroll (a different item with a different name) can you open the portal.

But the Scroll I have is the one that was Made by the 3 pieces? I printed out the Steps for the new Quest and have followed every step. So I still dont see what is happening? And I went to Akara before and after to see if she could help, but needless to say, Im confused lol

Well I opened another game to see how things were going to work with the Scroll I have . In this recent game, I went to Stoney and there is NO portal up at the Cairn Stones, but the stones are Shrines ! There is 1 Stamina shrine, and 2 Armor shrines and 2 Refilling shrines ?
So I went to see if maybe the Tree we used to get the scroll from in the past (before 7.65) was still there, but No tree and No Brutes either!
Thought you might need to know that. Thx...........
