Topic: Installation will nicht hinhauen

nachdem mein pc komischerweise fast alle dateien gelöscht hat(der sagt dann,der könne keinen benutzernamen finden  ) habe ich versucht ce neu zu installen aber immer kam dieser error: checksum error . was hat er zu bedeuten,wie krieg ich ce doch noch installt??habe schon alle d2 dateien auf freifug innen papierkorp geschickt und gelöscht und alles neu druff,nichst......BITTE helft mir........


achja,falls es interessiert:ich möchte d2m zoggn und hab keen bock,mir die von gamespy die ohren voll zu errorn(geiles wort)

hi,

dieses "checksum error" lässt darauf schließen das dein download "kaputt" ist, soll heißen das du dir nochmal ce komplett neu herunterlädst und es dann nochmal mit der installation versuchst.

den download habe ich folgendermassen getätigt::ichbin bei indiablo auf suchen gegangen,habe nach chaos empire gesucht,punkt.als dann die news letter war,wo druff hingewiesen wurde,das version 7.49 raus is,hab ich auf den "link" geklickt mit dem download von seiten ind.de. wer dies nun verstanden hat und beantworten kann,ob der nun richtig oda falsch is,so möge er es sagen ...

let me remind u there are not only germans arround here .. i am dutch i can read it a bit but i do not understand most words so plz do it in english or something caus i want to play the game 2 !!

i cant force english, cause 90% of all players are germans..
but we try all to help other prople with foreign languages, when they write in english

btw..you can try it in netherlands..but there wont be much ansers..

download the latest version of ChaosEmpire here!
then install it over your clean diablo 2 Lord of Destruction
after that run the chaos empire activator
when you've done that, download this, it's the latest update. extract it in your d2 directory and enjoy 
but there will be every sunday (chaosenergy said so) a update, so don't forget to check for the latest update

well now i tried it .. but i still cannot connecto to jen  world ... what should be the problem ? if this go's every sunday well .. what a nice sunday i have :S :S :S

this is cause you probably installed 749d patch
this runs only on CCC
on all realms but cc only release one runs..
on ccc you play latest version, but bad side is..you need to live with sometime chaning parts..

so .. i need to uninstall it now ? and than install the other again or ?? deleet all D patch icons ..   

well i only need 7.49 and than the .reg file thans its ok ?

jens side says that this is the latest file, i dont know cuz im a singleplayer

if you want to play the latest versions online, just send a PM @chaosenergy including the account you want to have, then he would make the account on his server and you can play, cuz you can't create an account on ccc yourself
his server is chaos core community, or short: c.c.c.

ich hab das problem das der sagt er könnte meine version nicht identen(jenworld)... hab nun extra meine bestehende version nochmal deinstalliert (war 7.49) und hab die 7.49 nochmal neu draufgemacht... immer noch der gleiche fehler das die version meiner anwendung nicht identifiziert werden kann

auf d2maniacs gehts problemlos

now this is getting on my nervs ... i uninstalled it all .. re installed it .. and now when i wanna activate : MISSING ANTI CHEAT.dll   wtf :S    

this is rediculus .. damn i only wanna play a COOL super GOOD game .. and thats what i get errors errors errors .. :S i get sick of it .. does anyone know what to do ? i out of there whits .. :S plz help me ..

try it with the unbeatable method...
uninstall d2
install d2
update to 1.10
install CE 7.49
implement the actual reg file

if you want to play on ccc, send chaosenergy a PM
then install the latest patch/update for CE

i recommend playing on d2m, cuz that server is very stable and there is the biggest community

BUT you can play also on jenworld, but there are a few problems over the day...
