Help, my realm account still does not work

no, I mean the chat box (java) . I have installed java. but it need be connected and then I can type the words to get the password for realm account. BUT now, I t cant be connected.

Thanks your patience.it said Unable to connect: java.net.ConnectException: connection timed out.

the chat automatically conencts to realm..so probably you have a closed firewall port?

you need to open the irc port 6667

how to open it?is there anyway to get a realm account? It is so hard for me to get it. :(

You have to check your firewall and/or router. Where to open the port depends on the firewall or router.

thanks, But i am using university's internet. I dont know the setting of firewall. Is it possible i can change it on my computer? and how?
